My3Socks Interview with WIS 10

Parents work to honor their late children with new sock company.

Preserving the Heart and “Sole” of every family: My3Socks working to put a roof over every child’s head.

The My3Socks Mission & Outreach

The heart on the bottom of our socks represents the heart and “sole” of our company. At My3Socks, our passion is to help children.

I (Marie) worked at a children’s home in South Carolina for nearly five years. Watching those children thrive, even despite difficult circumstances, greatly impacted my life. Years later, returning to my first career as a teacher, I had the opportunity to teach many of the children from the children’s home. Once again, I was amazed by their perseverance, tenacity, and love! These children have been, and continue to be, an inspiration to all who have the incredible blessing of being around them.

Our neighbors and My3Socks partners, Trina and Jason, also share this passion for helping children, albeit on a different continent. They make an annual trip to South America to volunteer at a children’s home.

This desire to help children has led our families to establish “Carson’s Cause,” named in memory of Kevin and my beloved middle son, Carson, who passed away unexpectedly in 2009 at 6 years old. Carson was full of life and love—we honor his memory by doing something meaningful. My3Socks donates a portion of our proceeds to help children’s homes in memory of our precious son, Carson.

Join us as we “dream big” and “walk by faith” to help as many children as possible, 3 socks at a time.
